Move. Get up and move. Move across your yard, across the
mountain, across the country. Just move.
At the end of anyone's life do they ever reflect and remember
the times that they spent on their couch? In front of the TV? Mowing their
lawn? Washing their car?
How about the time some dickhead cut you off in traffic and
you flip out blowing the horn and flipping them off?
None of that stuff matters. Why waste precious thought on non
sense?
Just move. Do something. Oh, mowing your lawn is moving
you say? Why? So you can mow it again
next week? Or it rained (yes, rain does happen) and you have to wash your shiny
new car again.
Just move. Move with your love. Move with your friends. Move
alone.
Walk, run, ride a bicycle, swim, crawl, move. Fast or slow.
Move.
Pack up your stuff. Travel. Move away.
Do not let lack of accompaniment detour you from moving. If
you wait for someone to join you may never move. Move alone if required.
Stop making excuses. Why stay at a job you hate, a place you
hate, a situation you hate? Just move.
Stop making excuses, excuses are often the cover up of fear.
Not too long ago, we up rooted and moved over 1000 miles from what once was
considered home. The naysayers came out
in droves. "You will be back" you will not like it"
"Why?" "What if it does not work out?"
Just other day I was speaking someone who has rarely been out
of the county that they was born in. "I could never do what you did, I am so
scared" Then they asked "Were you not scared?"
"Yes, terrified" I answered."But, also relieved.
excited, and rejuvenated"
So here I am. I moved. I continue to move. Physically and mentally. When I read, I often
move. My thoughts are somewhere else. When I run, or ride, I move both
physically and mentally. When I sleep I dream. I dream I am moving somehow,
someplace. One of my favorite times is daydreaming about where and how I want
to move.
This was taken from a scribbled note book page I hand wrote
one October 19, 2019.
